A regular *n*-gon cake can certainly be sliced into *n*
equal pieces, or into any factor of *n*. But the 6-gon cake in the picture
can also easily be cut into quarters, and 4 is not a factor of 6. Learners
could investigate which fractions are easy for which values of *n*.

Learners might try to make the slices with the **minimum
number** of straight cuts.
